Licence Terms
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. Licence grant
When you purchase a Practical IT Packs product, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use and adapt that product for your own personal use or the internal operations of the purchasing organisation.
2. Permitted internal use
You may enter your own data, customise labels and settings where the workbook permits, create internal reports and outputs, and allow employees or contractors acting for the same purchasing organisation to use the files for that organisation’s internal work.
3. What you may not do
You must not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, upload for public/shared download, give away, or otherwise provide the reusable source templates to another person or separate organisation. You must not offer the templates, substantially similar copies, or modified versions as your own downloadable product, template pack or competing commercial product.
4. Consultants and client work
You may use the tools to support your own professional work and may share ordinary reports or outputs produced from them where appropriate. The reusable source template itself may not be transferred to a separate client organisation unless that organisation has its own applicable licence or purchase.
5. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the original Practical IT Packs files, structure, design and documentation remain with their owner. Your purchase is a licence to use the files under these terms, not an assignment of ownership.
6. Backups
You may keep reasonable backup copies for the licensed use. Backup copies remain subject to these Licence Terms.
7. Termination
The licence may be terminated if the files are deliberately resold, redistributed or used in material breach of these terms. Termination does not affect rights or remedies that arose before termination.
