Excel & file requirements

  • Designed for desktop Microsoft Excel 365 and modern Excel formula behaviour.
  • Macro-free .xlsx format — no VBA, Power Query, external links, add-ins or cloud connections are required.
  • Automatic calculation should remain enabled so connected views refresh after edits.
  • The workbook is designed around prepared capacities including up to 50 projects and 500 tasks.
  • Google Sheets, Apple Numbers and unsupported older Excel versions are not guaranteed to calculate or display the system correctly.

Important limitations

  • This is a management/control workbook; it does not replace approved finance, HR, procurement, document-management or specialist project systems where those remain authoritative.
  • RAGs, forecasts, scores and rankings are decision-support signals and require human review.
  • Large changes can take time to recalculate; source values should be pasted into intended input columns rather than over formula/helper columns.
